Hey guys! We are Paisley & Macenzie, the warm bodies behind the scenes and computer screens! Two broke college girls from the unnecessarily humid parts of Georgia. We can not express how excited we are to explore this beautiful world God has hand crafted and blessed us with and most importantly to share it all with you guys! We hope that our stories will inspire you, entertain you, move you, make you wander, and experience Jesus through our eyes and our hearts. Nothing we do is done alone.

What is Selah?

selah: Hebrew; סֶלָה

The meaning of the word is not fully known, though there are various interpretations. Some that really stand out to us include “stop and listen” and also “pause and reflect.” Thirty-one of the thirty-nine Psalms include the word selah. It notes a break in a song and is similar in purpose to Amen in that it stresses the importance of the preceding passage. Alternatively, selah can also mean “forever.” This one word encapsulates so many representations of our journey with our Father. Yet- still ties everything it is “interpreted” as all together in a single word. This word embodies Him as He is one thing and He is every thing. In the deepest of valleys and the highest of mountains, we will SELAH.
